Celebrating Mentoring Success

On July 27, the mentors and mentees of the RICBW Mentoring 20/40 pilot program gathered at the home of member Carrie Bridges Feliz to celebrate the many successful and binding relationships developed during the last six months. Both mentors and mentees gave testimonies of personal growth and important decisions influenced by this supportive relationship.

Although many of these pairs have agreed to continue beyond the initial term of the program, RICBW encourages any potential Black woman mentor or Black woman mentee to apply for the next round of the program in early 2020. Thanks to all of our participating mentors and mentees who surpassed all of our expectations! Consider participating as either a mentor or a mentee.

“The RICBW Mentorship 20/40 Program is a must for all upcoming and established women of color in RI! It helped boost my confidence as a young professional and set me on a greater path to succeed in my endeavors. Special thanks to my mentor and all the visionary women that joined together, to pave the way, to make this a reality!”
