This interactive event brings together community members and local elected officials in a relaxed, welcoming setting where meaningful conversations happen naturally. Whether you're reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting someone new, or learning more about the issues that shape our communities, Civic Game Night is an opportunity to engage, build relationships, and have fun.
No prior civic experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to connect. We hope you'll leave feeling inspired, informed, and even more connected to your community.

SHAPING A NEW NARRATIVE: TRUTH, DATA, EQUITY-EMPOWERING BLACK AND BROWN STUDENTS IN RI’S EDUCATION LANDSCAPE
Join RICBW and the NAACP Providence Branch to craft the narrative and build a collaborative education agenda for students, parents, and educators in our community. RI Gubernatorial Candidate forum
The Gubernatorial Candidate Forum will give Rhode Islanders an opportunity to gain more insight about each candidate’s perspective on the challenges facing Rhode Island communities, their policy priorities, and strategies for ensuring a thriving Rhode Island. Of particular concern are issues that have disproportionately impacted the Black community, including voting rights, redistricting, education, and public safety. The forum will be held at the John Hope Settlement House, 7 Thomas P. Whitten Way, Providence, RI, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Forum is free and open to the public.
Mentornity Training and networking
This will be a great opportunity to learn about using the Mentornity platform while building your mentoring relationship! Afterwards, we will have time to network with others in the program as well as RICBW members. Location: Lifespan Community Health Institute 335 R Prairie Ave., Providence, RI
