About Us

Rhode Island Coalition of Black Women, Inc (RICBW) is a vibrant organization working to ensure that Rhode Island black women and their families have the resources they need to thrive and strengthen their communities. We support them  through organizing programs, establishing networks, and developing leadership talent.

Founded on September 22, 2001 as a chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, the organization separated from the National office in 2017 to focus more on advocacy for local issues affecting Rhode Island Black women.
